I want to do the same thing in the small town where I live.
I do, however, have bigger cities around that can help with any questions I might have. The one bigger city has an awesome program where they actually have the parking lot made out of glass, the entry way to the community room is made out of old tires (the floor, it’s the inside of the tires), the deck is made out of plastic (it’s 100% gauranteed for life) and so much more, all made out of recycled products they collect. I am so intregued, but any time I’ve tried contacting them online I get no reply.
If I were you I would write to the closest big city and ask for help and I would also contact the ‘well to do’ in your area and ask for donations and/or support of some kind.
Good Luck!!
And Thank God!!

It’s really not that difficult to start your own local recycling program. All it takes is a desire to do something to help the environment and a commitment to getting others involved.
You can see how to start a recycling program, as well as a list of sites to help you get started, here:

You should gather up with a couple of friends and post up flyers. A good place to put flyers are on trashcans in front of fastfood restuarants, parks, and shopping centers.

Please don’t do it. And to answer your question, buy some recycling machines or something.

There is a free internet based program you could start for your local area. You would have to promote it by e-mail through friends and their friends etc, etc.
YOu can join and start your local program at
