I hope you have a filter and you run it everyday. You have to get a chemical test kit and balance the chlorine levels an PH levels, as well as shocking it weekly. If you do nothing than the water will turn green every week and you will be wasting money and time on filling the pool every time you want to use it Good Luck

you can buy a small above ground pool pump or pond pump and that circulates the water. find out from a pool place if you can add a bit of chlorine and other chemicals and how much to add.

there are products (like shock and swim) but these quantity’s are for bigger pools you can also buy liquid shock but you must follow directions to the ‘T’ look at WALMART they have products based around “kidde’ pools!

Algaecide used weekly prevents the green – try 1/4 cup and see if it works – you should be able to purchase it at Walmart or any pool store. I have a bigger pool and use 1-2 cups weekly (more if I have been away and it has gone green)

Algae is what is turning your water green. Follow the advice of cocobea…

i own a pool company.you will need algeacide to get rid of algea.then you will need to add shock (chlorine) to keep it from turning green.add chlorine every week .chlorine should read on test kit 3.0 and ph should read 7.2 to 7.8
