Is there any way to recycle old computer disks – including floppy disks, Zip disks, CDs for free? From what I have found, I either can just toss them in the trash or pay for them to be recycled. Any other options that anyone knows about? Some of it is just old graphics and so on, but some have old work on them which probably shouldn’t get into others’ hands even though that is mostly just publications for various clients. I’d also love to get rid of ancient software, including manuals, without adding to trash. All of this is for a Mac, and I don’t believe places that use old computers and software even want these things donated.
