It’s on new ones only, and has been phased out for many models but still exists for some. See irs.gov for more info – type “hybrid” into the search box.

Toyota/Lexus no longer have credits.
Honda does, but it’s reduced.
The vehicle must be new with you. Leased doesn’t count (the Leasing company would get the credit).
And if you do buy one, your credit is subject to AMT and limited by the amount of tax you owe.
